Mount Vernon Schools are proud to announce the creation of a Mount Vernon School District Hall of Fame beginning in the 2024-25 school year. The creation of the Mountaineer Hall of Fame is intended to celebrate and recognize the rich heritage and tradition of successful programs and individuals in the Mount Vernon R-V School District. Many individuals have been influential in the Mt'Neer tradition of excellence and have had exemplary accomplishments in education, athletics, and activities.
The Hall of Fame will honor the contributions and accomplishments of these individuals who are worthy of recognition as examples for others to emulate.
The Hall of Fame Committee will accept nominations from Mount Vernon Alumni and/or current staff members for the Class of 2025 through December with plans to induct these honorees at an event in March.
