Description
The Mount Vernon R-V School District is seeking applicants for the position of Building Principal for the Elementary School beginning the 2025-2026 academic year. The Principal serves as the educational leader and chief administrator of their school, responsible for implementing and managing the policies, regulations, and procedures of the District to ensure that all students are supervised in a safe child-centered learning environment.
The Principal must possess knowledge of instructional strategies, assessment practices, and effective
classroom management and discipline techniques. The Principal must exhibit effective communication skills to build positive relationships with students, staff, parents, and community.
This position includes a 210 Day Contract. Candidates must have a minimum of a Masters Degree in Educational Administration and proper Missouri Certification.
